The Cottage Grove Fall Festival will be a free admission, family friendly event including: an Art Show, Street Vendors, Farmers Market, Kids Activities, Great Music, and Beer Garden. This event will take place Friday, September 22nd and Saturday, September 23rd in the streets of Historic Downtown Cottage Grove with beergardens and music stage located on a closed section of 7th and Washington Street.
We are looking for vendors and artists to join us. If you are a local business owner, artist or maker and would like to showcase your products or artwork at our event, please message us with your contact information and a brief description of what you offer. We’re looking for a variety of artists, vendors, including food, crafts, jewelry and more.

Street Vendor Hours: Friday, September 22nd 3 pm to 7 pm & Saturday, Sept 23rd 10 am – 7 pm
Street Vendor set-up: Friday 9 am to 2:30 pm – tear down Sunday, 24th 9 am to 3 pm
Artist Vendor Hours: Friday, September 22nd 3 pm – 8 pm & Saturday, Sept 23rd 10 am – 8 pm

All pertinent fire codes, laws, ordinances, and regulations pertaining to health, fire prevention, and public safety shall be strictly obeyed. Exhibitors are responsible for obtaining their own insurance coverage to insure against theft, fire, smoke, or any other loss or casualty. Please see Release and Hold Harmless section for information on liability as it pertains to Event Coordinators/Management, Downtown Cottage Grove, City of Cottage Grove, Cottage Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, and all employees or agents of these agencies.
Event coordinators will designate a space area or booth number in conformity with the layout of the festival for each Artist or Vendor exhibitor. The agreement will also accommodate the approximate dimensions of the rented space. Due to last- minute changes that might be unforeseen by the Event Coordinators, the exhibitor might be required to relocate. The exhibitor agrees to keep all merchandise and other equipment within the marked boundaries of the booth. The exhibitor agrees that the booth under contract will be open and adequately staffed during festival hours. Subletting or donation of space partially or in its entirety is not permissible without the consent of management. All booth signage will be subject to the approval of management. You may be asked to remove signs or signs may be removed by Event Coordinators for the festival to maintain a professional appearance.
VENDORS AND ARTISTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TEAR DOWN BEFORE CLOSURE OF FESTIVAL 11PM ON SATURDAY SEPT 23RD.
FARMERS MARKET VENDORS WILL BE ALLOWED TO TEAR DOWN AFTER 4 PM ON SATURDAY SEPT 23RD.
THERE WILL BE OVERNIGHT SECURITY ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHTS UNTIL 9 AM SUNDAY MORNING
If the exhibitor does not arrive to fill their space by the assigned set-up time, the consequences will be that the exhibitor will not be invited to return to the festival. Event Management will then occupy said space in such a manner as it may deem best for the festival. Event Management will also retain all funds. No refund will be made, and any outstanding balance will remain the responsibility of the exhibitor to pay. All outstanding balances will be due immediately.
The request to reserve vendor space constitutes an expressed contractual agreement between exhibitor and Event Coordinators. It is understood and agreed that by signing this agreement, I fully and finally release and hold harmless Event Coordinators/Management, Downtown Cottage Grove, Cottage Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Cottage Grove (including its agents and employees) from all liability for all claims of every nature and kind. This is including but not limited to death, personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to personal property whether caused by Event Coordinator – Downtown Cottage Grove, Chamber of Commerce, City of Cottage Grove’s own negligence, the negligence of their agents and employees, or negligence of attendees of the event on municipal property.
Exhibitors are required to follow the instructions given to them by their festival staff captain to ensure smooth unloading and loading of merchandise. Any exhibitor who will not follow the instructions from their event staff captain may be asked to leave the festival and will not be allowed to return as an exhibitor.
Street Vendors and Art Vendors: A complete contract and payment are required to secure your space. We accept checks that are postdated to September 8, 2023. All cancellations by exhibitors must be done prior to this date and checks will be returned or destroyed.
Farmers Market Vendors: A complete contract and payment are required to secure your space. Payment requirements will be according to the South Valley Farmers Market guidelines.
Cancellations after September 8, 2023, will receive no refund. In case of an emergency cancellation, we will carry forward the payment toward the following year if we are notified of such a situation. If the entire festival must be cancelled for reasons including but not limited to fire, strikes, government regulations, or an act of God that make it impossible to conduct the show, your contract will terminate, and the exhibitor will waive any claim for damages. Checks will be returned, destroyed, or full refunds will be made. If for any reason the location of the festival is changed, no refund will be made but show management will assign exhibitors a new space in lieu of the original space.
